Jesus said: “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me...” Acts 1:8
As you receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, you can expect God to fill you with His presence and power. One of the biblical expressions of this experience is speaking with other tongues—a prayer language that enables you to communicate with God in a new way. You don't have to strive for it. Simply come to God with faith, surrender, and expectation.

"Father, I come before You in faith. Thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Today, I ask You for the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire. Just as You promised in Your Word, fill me with Your Spirit and empower me to live boldly for Jesus and be His witness.
Father, I receive the gift of speaking in other tongues. As I yield my voice to You and speak in faith, Holy Spirit, give me the words to speak. Let Your presence overflow in me and empower me to walk in the gifts of the Spirit. In Jesus Name, Amen."
